Book a Tour.
Booking a tour with North Star Dog Mushing Co. is a great way to complement your summer trip to Fairbanks or Homer, AK! Our tour options vary slightly based upon which city you’re booking your tour from, but all tours will include a ride with our dog team, picture opportunities, and plenty of time to hear dog sled stories, ask questions, and pet and meet the dogs.
General Tour Information
Tour guests are responsible for arriving at the tour location on-time or slightly early for their tour. A late arrival could result in a cancelled or shortened tour.
Tour guests are also responsible for dressing to match the weather conditions. The majority (or entirety) of the tour will be outdoors.
Children (12 years old or less) can be booked for a reduced rate. We are unable to take children less than 3 years old for a tour.
Booking a tour using the sceduler below by default is only for one person. If there are additional people in your party, please make sure to check the additional add-ons to account for each member of your group. (For example, if your group size is 3 adults total, you will book a tour that includes just 1 Adult by default and you will additionally check two “Add Adult” boxes to reach your total of 3 adults).
Tour group size limits are 5 people per booking in Fairbanks and 3 people per booking in Homer. If your group size exceeds those limits, please call to discuss and we will do our best to design a tour that works for your group size. Every booking is private - you will be the only persons on the tour that you book.
