Summer Day-Trip
Tour EXPERIENCE
— COMING SOON! - Summer 2025 —
During the summer months, the dog kennel is split between Fairbanks and Homer, AK. In both Fairbanks and Homer, we provide tours to guest clients on wheeled carts. Deke stays in Fairbanks and Jonah relocates to Homer. The tours are similar between the two locations but with some slight differences: In Fairbanks, there is both a half-hour and full-hour tour option. Fairbanks tours utilize a side-by-side UTV for the tour ride and can accommodate groups of up to 5 people at a time. In Homer, tours are 1 hour long along the Homer Spit beach. Homer tours utilize a beach buggy and can accommodate groups of up to 3 people at a time. The summer tours in both locations offer the opportunity to meet and greet the awesome sled dog athletes, learn about the life of a sled dog and dog musher, hear race and trail stories, and if timing works out, potentially meet some puppies!
Winter Multi-Day
Wilderness Experience
For the month of March, we head out to Iniakuk Lake Wilderness Lodge in the central Brooks Range of Arctic Alaska for unqiue, exclusive dog mushing and aurora-viewing tour experiences. The lodge is completely remote and “off-grid". At Iniakuk Lodge, we provide tours where guests get the opportunity to mush their own dog team! If you are interested in joining this one-of-a-kind adventure, explore the website linked below and contact the lodge to build your trip!
